GNOWANGERUP
TRACTOR

In November 2020, Eric Hood Painting restored the old Steam Tractor for the Shire of Gnowangerup, at the foothills of WA’s majestic Stirling Ranges. Originally imported into WA in 1890 to clear local countryside for farming, the tractor now has pride of place in the main street of Gnowangerup.

Abrasive and bristle blasting was carried out to remove rust and prepare surfaces for repainting.

Industrial protective coatings were skillfully applied to preserve this important tourist at traction.

The ravages of time and climate can devastate regional landmarks. Fortunately, Eric Hood has the resources and expertise to deal with rust, corrosion, and peeling paint problems.
